Job duty：
Candidate must manage the qualification of local suppliers for sub assemblies and components for SBS products. electrical/mechanical components and external storage devices for SBS products. These components and sub assemblies to include EDA's, Mechanical/Plastic, PCB's, PCBA's , power supplies, cables etc. Qualification to include factory audits and approval, supplier quality systems approval, supplier processes and QC systems approval and component first article approvals. Candidate must be able to accurately evaluate the capability of PCBA, electrical assemblies and external storage assembly and test tools and processes. Candidate should be able to perform PC level testing of external; storage devices. Candidate must be able to accurately evaluate the design of tools for molding and sheet metal fabrication. Candidate will also approve packaging and artwork for consumer retail kits. Candidate must provide detailed and accurate reports of supplier capabilities, status and progress against the qualification requirements plan
Will support quarterly QBR reviews with ODM's and conduct quartetly audits of sub component suppliers.
Experience requirment：
Seven years minimum supplier quality management experience in the CE or related fields. Must have experience in reviewing mechanical designs for manufacturability and reliability. Must have qualified and managed suppliers for Electrical ( PCBA,Powersupply, Cables ) and/or Mechanical ( sheet metal and plastics ) components where functional and/or cosmetics and customer perceived quality are critical. Experience in PC level testing of external storage products and/or Design of process tooling for plastics and sheet metal fabrication would be advantageous.
Able to liaise effectively with Seagate USA, SBS NPO and ODM factory NPI team. Strong leadership skills to drive and motivate various functions within a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills. Knowledge of statistical process controls (SPC), process capabilities (Cp/Cpk), process controls, 6 sigma, certified auditor, ISO9001/QS9001, 8-D/5-Why, poke yoke/mistake-proofing, DFMEA/PFMEA. Proficient in English & Mandarin. Experience managing multiple suppliers simultaneously to deliver products. Must be a detail oriented and a proven team leader. |
