Responsibility: 1.Systems Design - Analyzes and evaluates user requests for new and modified systems and programs which may incorporate new technologies that need to be researched and evaluated. Designs systems in collaboration with user. Facilitate with users to help them to write down the process and implement all SOPs. Train all users and leverage users’ IT knowledge. Listen users' requirement and align expectations to IT strategy and company goals. Train all users on new software and change the program based on the user requirement. 2.Project Management Creates project plans including task, time, costs and resource estimates. Manages projects to completion. 3.Programming – Design, code, and test complex to simple programs to completion in one or more of the following languages (Visual Basic 6 or 7, .net, , Java, ASP, HTML, related scripting and job control languages RPG(OPTIONAL) IV ILE, Cobol, , or other languages as required). 4.Leads - Oversee the work of junior developers, perform documentation, testing, installation, customization and maintenance of programs originally written or written by others. 5.Solves Problems - Assists other development specialists and users in the resolution of problems related to the development, correct operation, and maintenance of the programs and documentation. 6.Protects IT Assets - Supports, protects and maintains the companies 7 X 24 operational systems as assigned.
Requirements 1.Education Required – Bachelor's Degree in computer science or IT technology is compulsory. Desired MSCE, Java, IBM certified is preferred but not a must. English Level 6
2.Experience 4-10 years experience in working IT area. Proven track record of success measured by increased responsibility and attainment of prescribed objectives. Proven track record in implementation of major application systems. In-depth knowledge of business processes in a large manufacturing facility, including order management, capacity planning and production scheduling, warehousing and engineering functions, administrative and personnel management functions. |
