Key Responsibilities: To lead the day to day operations that include: Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, etc. To ensure on time delivery, on cost and on quality to the customers by ensuring on-going optimal utilization of production capacity, skill training, working capital, cost and service level attainment. To actively lead and collaborate with the LEAN team to integrate LEAN tools with Six Sigma processes to constantly drive continuous improvement and breakthrough capabilities and results. People development: to develop and coach subordinates and teams for higher effectiveness and accomplishment. As part of Taicang plant's leadership team to drive world-class manufacturing strategy and breakthrough deployment. To lead any BU projects as assigned by the company.
Required Capabilities or Competencies: Bachelor degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering. Minimum 8 to 12 years of industrial experience in manufacturing, preferably in high mix, high speed, high volume production environment and automotive part manufacturing background. The incumbent must have at least 5 years of experience in the role of either as a Manufacturing Manager, Engineering Manager, or Operations Manager. Very familiar with TS standard and Six Sigma Processes. Leadership qualities: customer-focused, result-oriented, high degree of personal ethics and integrity, high standard of excellence, good collaboration, ability to think out of box, and is able to drive change. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with business peers in both Europe and US. Must have a good command of English communication proficiency. Good business acumen and professional presence. Able to coach co-workers and subordinates and to develop them for higher effectiveness.
