Key Responsibilities: To manage at the consolidated level with various business units the functions of planning, procurement, warehousing/inventory, shipping & transportation. This includes setting and managing performance standards and attainment. To manage the SOPM (Sales & Operations Process Management) to ensure optimal level of forecast accuracy, schedule attainment and customer service. This includes both demand chain and supply chain alignment. To collaborate with the LEAN team to integrate supply chain processes with LEAN or Six Sigma processes to ensure on-going optimal utilization of production capacity, working capital, cost and service level attainment. As part of the ERP implementation team to implement Oracle 11i at Waigaoqiao and to transition current system migration to Taicang. Actively using Supplier Scorecard System to co-manage supplier performance on quality, lead time, service and productivity improvement with the Global Sourcing Team to drive Supplier Performance and Supplier Development. Negotiate contracts with partners and third party suppliers for indirect purchasing: transportation, freight and logistics-related services, besides clarifying customs related issues. As part of Taicang plant’s leadership team to drive world-class manufacturing strategy and breakthrough deployment.
Required Capabilities or Competencies: Bachelor or higher degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or any relevant disciplines. At least 8 to 10 years of supply chain experience in high-mix high-volume material planning & production environment, in which at least 5 years in managerial level. Previous experience with hybrid contract / OEM manufacturing is advantageous, though not absolute. Strong ERP system integration and implementation experience and with good sense of numbers. Leadership qualities: customer-focused, result-oriented, high degree of personal integrity, collaboration and ability to think out of box. Ability to work independently and communicate effective with business peers in both Europe and US. Must have a good command of English communication proficiency. Good business acumen and professional presence. |
