Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
1.Responsible for chip validation: develop chip module/system validation plan, test program ( based on assembly and C ), validate and analyze chip module functionality/performance, test chip/module electrical characterization.
2.Responsible for board circuit design to support pre-silicon FPGA validation and silicon validation.
3.Document validation plan, implementation and test results.
4.Provide support to design team, OS team and other world wide teams.
Specific Knowledge/Skills :
1. Bachelor/Master in Electronics & Communication & Electrical & Computer Science.
2. Expertise on circuit design ( digital and analog ), PCB board layout, SOC architecture( PowerPC preferred, ARM, MIPS, or DSP core) and relevant debug tools.
3. Be familiar with Verilog/ VHDL and FPGA design.
4. Have in-depth knowledge on MPEG 4, H.264, USB, CAN, signal integrity, power management, etc.
5. Be ability to work under pressure to meet the schedule.
