Job Function: Responsible for all aspects of the operation as well as establishing a budget and all profit and loss for the facility. Manage and direct staff to achieve corporate and plant goals. Interact with community, support environmental and social issues. Sustain numerous customer visits and audits. Support and drive Kaizen and QS9000 activities, as well as continuous improvement activities in the plant.
Must be able to work any shift and/or overtime when required. Must be willing to improve quality of work processes and reduce costs.
Additional responsibilities: Search, evaluation, proposal, design, and implantation of acquisition conditions, joint-venture conditions, product and technology licenses and other opportunities which will enhance and expand Trico’s competitive position and market growth.
Skills/Qualifications: Must have working knowledge of: Project Management, budget development and management, APQP, problem solving, communication – written, verbal, presentation and customer contact, PC proficiency, OEM Practices (QS9000), Q1, TQE, etc.), , supervisory skills, teambuilding. Additional skills in these areas would be helpful but not required: knowledge of rubber, plastics, and metal applications, DOE, failure analysis, budget development and budget management and Kaizen / Lean Manufacturing
Minimum education required: 4 year degree with a Graduate Degree preferred.
Minimum experience required: 5-10 years based on actual job and industry experience. |
