SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Researcher is an integral part of the executive search process. The work that the incumbent produces provides the foundation for the entire search process and presenting the right candidate to the client starts with them. The Researcher is primarily responsible, but not limited to, providing recruitment support to the supervising consultant. He/she will inevitably need to ensure that the research and execution process is done in a highly competent and thorough fashion, with the understanding that the quality of their work contributes to the success of each assignment. As Researcher, your job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Generating appropriate research pertaining to the particular assignments with a clear understanding of the project requirements and client needs. Develop target sourcing list in collaboration with the Consultant. Identifying appropriate potential candidates pertaining to particular assignment via a direct approach (cold calling) and working through network of contacts and company information. Develop your understanding of various industries, their competitive landscape, company corporate structures and business models. Support consultant by completing general project related administrative duties.
WORK EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES REQUIRED: The Researcher will possess the skills and qualifications listed below: Strong interpersonal and excellent written and oral communication skills (both English and Mandarin). Mature with a strong sense of responsibility, accountability and professionalism. Experienced in conducting research work and cold calls. Depending on the level of experience, will interact with candidates and potentially clients. Able to work in a team environment and also independently without supervision to ensure the successful completion of assignments. Able to multi-task. Resilient and able to respond in dynamic environment Eager and open to learning- researching specific industry sectors is often required before starting cases (desire to broaden business / industry knowledge). Minimum 1-2 years of accumulated experience in executive search. A university / college graduate |
